Weekend News 4-14-17

Hello Second Grade Families,

I hope you all had a wonderful spring break. It has been an exciting week in room 201. Tuesday was the best day ever when the kids gave me a surprise BEATLES birthday party! Wow. Thank you to everyone involved in planning this special event.

We had a great field trip to the Grand Rapids Public Museum on Thursday. We could have stayed all day! Ask your child to tell you something they learned about the history of GR.

If you are planning on submitting a Scholastic book order for April, please sent it in by Wednesday. Don't forget to use your free book coupon! If you spend $5, you get a free $5 book pick! Let me know if you lost your coupon and I can send you another one.

If you have a moment, please complete the survey below (click the link) that our class created. Each student asked a question and gave four options. We asked our classmates and graphed the results in the classroom. We'd love to see our surveys reach a little farther. Feel free to share the survey with family members or even on social media.  We look forward to analyzing our results on Monday!
