Welcome to fourth grade! We are going to have so much fun this year. I am excited to learn all about fourth grade with you!
This is my seventh year at Wealthy, but it will be by 13th year as a teacher. I love to read and teach kids to love books as much as I do. Before teaching in EGR, I taught in Maryland and in Kalamazoo Public Schools. I have taught K, 1, and 2. This is my first year in 4th grade (well, since 1993)!
I received my Master of Reading degree from Johns Hopkins University and did my undergrad classwork in education at Western Michigan University.

When I am not teaching second graders, I am a wife and mom to Lily (6) and Clara (4). We have a golden retriever named Delilah and she thinks she is a lap dog. We love to travel, go for family walks, bike rides, and watch movies.
When I have free time, I like to read, go running, and eat ice cream. I love teaching! I am so lucky to read and learn with kids every day. This year I will help you find books you love to read and give you TIME to read them!
